How the work is done

Typical steps for a lifting magnets job at our works.

  1. 01

    Inspection

    Electrical tests to find the fault in the coil or leads.

  2. 02

    Opening up

    The magnet is dismantled and the damaged coil removed.

  3. 03

    Rewinding

    A new coil is wound and insulated.

  4. 04

    Drying

    The coil is dried and cured in our drying oven (40–200 °C).

  5. 05

    Testing

    Electrical tests and, where required, load testing before dispatch.
